STAR Recruitment are currently working with a building contractor who is tendering for a large multimillion pound new-build project in Edinburgh City Centre. They are looking for a number of appointments to add to their team to assist with this, including an experienced Contract Bid Manager on a freelance basis. Previous experience working on large new build projects is essential.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing the full bid process
  • Creating and managing the bid management plan.
  • Possess an understanding of the full construction process including budgets, staffing and timings of phases.
  • Working closely with the project and commercial teams.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Strong understanding of the Scottish construction market.
  • Ideally candidates will have come for a Project Manager, Surveying or Estimating background.
  • Leading teams, driven to provide accurate information and quality.
  • Excellent IT and report writing skills.
